Hello Everyone , here we would like to share some tips on finding unknown driver when your outdated version of driverpack solutions DVD pack also couldn’t help you on finding suitable driver for your device.
Firstly, you have to find the HArdware ID of the device,
Just go to Device Manager, and Right Click the unknown driver or the driver with the yellow annotation mark. Click “Properties”
On the new Dialog Box, Go to Details Tab, then on the Property Menu, select “Hardware ID”
Sometimes there’s a lot compatible hardware id, select one first and copy the hardware ID to these following Website:
devid.info or devid.drp.su ( disable antivirus if you had trouble download from this site)
Example 1: where hardware id found in the database
Example 2: When the hardware ID not found in the database
hardware id: USB\VID_1B71&PID_3002&REV_0100
sometime you have to minimized the keyword searching in Hardware ID, use this USB\VID_1B71&PID_3002 instead of USB\VID_1B71&PID_3002&REV_0100
if the given website also can’t help finding the necessary driver, so the final option is to google the hardware ID in case someone else have shared or probably it will bring you to the manufacturer website.
